As a scientist I am interested in researching innovative solutions (algorithms and techniques) to problems in the area of Computer Systems. Examples of problems I have worked before are: code optimization in compilers, processor simulation, microcode compression, reconfigurable architectures and VLSI architectures for cryptography. My current research interests are the following: programming multi-core, transactional memory, cryptographic processors and power optimization.
