Sharing COVID-19 Data: Open Science and the FAPESP COVID-19 Data Repository

The Open Science movement is spreading all over the world, increasingly being considered part of good scientific practices, in particular when the research is financed with public money. This talk will give an overview of this movement, and present an important initiative in Open Data, the FAPESP Covid-19 Data Sharing Repository. Created in June 2020, it has been since accessed from more than 20 countries, with approximately 2,500 data downloads (statistics as of beginning of October 2020).
